MEET SERENA: Hi! My Name is Serena McCall and I am the brand ambassador for ACROPAD. I am 19 years old and I’m from Scotland. Growing up I trained as a Royal Ballet, Scottish Ballet & Royal Conservatoire Associate.

I then moved to Birmingham at the age of 14 to train at Elmhurst Ballet School for 3 years. I have now moved to London as I start my training at Rambert School of Contemporary and Ballet. 

I started dance when I was two years old because my sister was already a dancer so my mum thought why not let Serena have a go! I've always loved the art of acro and how beautiful it is to watch and also how cool it is to be able to do the tricks.

Over the years dance has given me the greatest opportunities and I have met the most incredible people and made the most amazing friends.

Becoming the Brand Ambassador of ACROPAD was a huge achievement and I couldn’t be more grateful. I’m also a young artist for the worldwide dance brand BLOCH which is also an awesome opportunity that I have been lucky enough to have for almost 3 years. 

WHAT'S IN YOUR DANCE BAG: My dance bag consists of ballet shoes, pointe shoes, blochsox, flamenco shoes, soft blocks, water bottle, deodorant, hair bobbles / pins / brush, plasters, lip balm and spare masks, ballet tights, leotards and skirts.

FAVE ACRO MOVE: Side Ariel or headspring

WHO IS YOUR HERO: My family! They are my hero’s forever and always, so grateful for them.

ON MY REST DAY: On my rest day I like to have a longer lie than usual, meet up with my friends, eat good food, do something exciting (like going bowling or the arcade) and occasionally catch up on homework.
